The road from Lachung to Yumthang Valley in North Sikkim, huge walls of snow on both sides and with fresh snowfalls making the road a bit risky, but still it povides you amazing view of the mountains, like this particular pic - It seems the road is going to the beautiful peak being taken on by clouds. Yumthang valley in North Sikkim. During months of April and may this region is covered with mountain flowers and looks really beautiful. The feeling of being at the footsteps of mighty Himalayas is so amazing. Here you can see the snow capped mountains rising up in front of you. You can go and even touch the base.
